"Sometimes you'll never know the true value of a moment until it becomes a memory."

The Old, The Now, The New.

October 28th, 2012
Something as bitter as it is sweet from that day.
Something ever so dazzling here today.
Something enticing comes this way.
Lo and behold, lo and behold.
A beautiful memory.
A delightful taste.
A mysterious vision.
It pains to hold, it pains to abandon.
It’s real, it’s love, it’s everything.
It may have come, it may be gone.
It was then.
This is now.
That is when?
Oh how it clings to me.
The pleasing displeased.
The impending at ease.
Was it real, was it true?
Is it me, is it you?
Is this it, is this the clue?
Running away only to return one day.
Waiting to see if it will go or stay.
Wondering what possibly can today.
It was, it is, it might.
Something as bitter as it is sweet from that day.
Something ever so dazzling here today.
Something enticing comes this way.
Lo and behold, lo and behold,
It’s the past, the now, and the new.
Someday, someday.

Quote Of The Day.

“Make up your mind to act decidedly and take the consequences. No good is ever done in this world by hesitation.” – Thomas H. Huxley

The World Is A Stage.

Thursday October 11, 2012

The truth is the world is the stage.
Life is the script you’ll never understand.
You’ll never live up to the role you’re supposed to play. The people around you? They’re your audience. They’re there to help you, watch you, wait for you to fail and screw up the lines. The lines are easy. Its simple. But you, you tend to over think it. You over analyze the simplified, you look pass the obvious. As a matter of fact, your role was to say and do only one thing, yet you choose to do otherwise. I’m an audience member; hoping for your success, waiting for your failure. I’m waiting for you to live up to the role called perfection. Anticipating for the climax of your story. What will you do? What will you do next? The spotlight’s on you. The apprehensive director, the anxious audience, the agonizing wait. Finally, with blazing passion in your eyes; firmed, statuesque stance; and your voice of utter conviction, you turned to the audience and shouted the line you’ve always forgotten, “LIVE!”.

The darkness invaded the room as the only light provided by the spotlight vanished. You stood there overwhelmed by the powerful, single line you’ve just expelled. Effulgent lights blind your eyes as you try to capture a glimpse of your audience. And in a slow, victorious manner, they stood with grand appraisal to your outstanding performance. The curtain falls for you.

Now live.

Dear Lord,

..please give me patience. Give me enough understanding to avoid bitter judgement towards others. Give me the strength to fight any temptations that may approach me from mysterious directions. Give me the light when the abyss of darkness is all I seem to see. Give me hope when falling to me becomes the easiest solution. Give me faith when life decides to shun me momentarily. Give me love to remind me that it’s oke- it’s oke to feel and give love. Help me because as common as this honest excuse is, I’m only human. I can only do so much to save myself from drowning. So Dear Dear Lord, give me patience, for that is the only way I can see the rest.
